Eligibility Requirements
- Household income at or below 60% of Area Median Income (AMI)
- Valid government-issued photo identification
- Proof of income for all household members over 18
- Satisfactory credit and rental history
- No evictions within the past 3 years
- Must be able to provide rental deposit (payment plans available)
Application Process
Initial Application
15-20 minutesComplete our online pre-qualification form or visit our office to fill out a paper application.

Application Review
2-3 weeksOur team reviews your application and verifies all submitted information.
Interview
1 hourApproved applicants are invited for an in-person or virtual interview to discuss housing needs and preferences.

Varies based on availabilityOnce housing becomes available that matches your needs, we'll contact you to complete the lease agreement.
Important: Waitlist Information
Due to high demand, approved applicants may be placed on a waitlist. Average wait time is 6-18 months depending on unit size and location preferences. We update waitlist status quarterly.
Frequently Asked Questions
What documents do I need to apply?
You'll need a valid photo ID, proof of income (pay stubs, tax returns, or benefit statements) for all household members over 18, rental history for the past 3 years, and references from previous landlords or employers.
Can I apply if I have bad credit?
We review applications holistically. While credit is considered, we also look at rental history, current income stability, and references. A poor credit score doesn't automatically disqualify you.
How much is the rent?
Rent is calculated based on your household income and the unit size. Generally, rent should not exceed 30% of your gross monthly income. Utilities may be included depending on the property.
Are pets allowed?
Pet policies vary by property. Some allow small pets with an additional deposit. Service and emotional support animals are allowed with proper documentation.
How long can I stay in affordable housing?
As long as you meet the income requirements and maintain good standing as a tenant, you can remain in affordable housing indefinitely. We conduct annual income recertifications.
